What are clear aligners?

Made from thin, transparent plastic, clear aligners are virtually-invisible and look similar to mouth guards and retainers. 

Moulded to the shape of your teeth for a precise and comfortable fit, clear aligners need to be worn for a large portion of the day to be effective but should be removed for eating and drinking. 

What are the benefits of clear aligners?

• Clear aligners can be used to treat a variety of issues, including minor crowding, gaps between teeth and bite concerns.

How do clear aligners work?

Following an in-depth consultation with one of our dental team, you will be given a bespoke treatment plan to suit your specific needs. As part of this you will be fitted with a set of clear aligners which you will need to wear for around 20-22 hours a day. 

The aligners will gradually straighten your teeth and you will need to change your aligners every week or so - you will be provided with the aligner set and instructions on how to use them. 

What are the different types of clear aligners?

Here at Circus Dental we offer two types of clear aligners. Both Invisalign and Spark Aligners are clear, removable aligners designed to discreetly straighten your teeth.
