Rachael is a general dentist with over 10 years experience in the South West and until recently she held a teaching role at the University of Bristol as a Clinical Lecturer in Restorative dentistry.
She has a caring and empathetic approach and takes time to know her patients to understand their health priorities and goals. She likes working with patients in this way to make patient centred care plans whether the goal is to be healthy, to prevent future problems or to give someone a smile that fills them with confidence.
Rachael has a postgraduate diploma in advanced general dental practice for which she achieved a distinction. It has given her a breadth of knowledge and experience. She has further training and experience in helping anxious patients receive care and has additional skills in acupuncture and intravenous sedation.
Rachael has also gained experience in cosmetic procedures and has additional skills in orthodontic aligners, facial aesthetics treatments and rehabilitation. She is now undertaking an MSc in Periodontics having developed an interest in this area over recent years.
