What we cover

  • The ‘Practice Walk-Through’ – we open our doors and show you our referral process, our clinic set-up, our microscope and camera set-up
  • We walk you through ‘The consultation appointment’ showcasing our workflow in an interactive session in our surgery
  • Pre-course you get access to our online ‘Fundamentals in Endo’ day course for 3 months – equivalent to 6 hours of content - This covers restorability, access cavity, instrumentation, irrigation and medication, obturation and post-endo restoration as an overview course - a fantastic refresher of all the fundamentals of modern Endodontics
  • Endodontic retreatment decision making - delivered in an interactive case-based seminar
  • How to use TruNatomy – a dentine preservation file system with hands-on
  • How to manage the calcified (narrow) and ledged canal with hands-on
  • How to use Reciproc and XP Shaper Rise – we use this for retreatment cases - hands-on use
  • How to remove gutta-percha with rotary instruments – hands-on

    Luca is a GDC registered specialist endodontist. He has been taking referrals for any dental work relating to root canal treatment for many years and has a wide experience in this area.

    Luca has completed the Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS) from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. Then subsequently undertook a Masters in Clinical Dentistry in Endodontics at The Eastman Institute (University College London).

    Luca combines his clinical activity with teaching endodontics. He is involved in training qualified dentists to upskill in endodontics, and with Jon runs many hands-on continuing professional development training courses a year.

    He has a passion for contemporary, restoratively driven endodontics which involves preserving as much natural tooth as possible during the root canal process to improve longevity. To achieve this all of his treatments are completed under a dental operating microscope and utilising 3D scanning technologies.

    Jon is a GDC registered specialist endodontist. He has been taking referrals for any dental work relating to root canal treatment for many years and has a wide experience in this area.

    He has completed a postgraduate diploma in endodontics at The Royal London Hospital and then subsequently, a Masters in Clinical Dentistry in Endodontics which he passed with Distinction at Kings College, London. He is an active member of the Royal College Surgeons, Edinburgh.

    Jon combines his clinical activity with teaching endodontics. He is involved in training qualified dentists to upskill in endodontics, he has lectured internationally, as far afield as Australia, and is involved in teaching on the Masters program in Endodontics at Kings College, London.

    He has a passion for contemporary, restoratively driven endodontics which involves preserving as much natural tooth as possible during the root canal process to improve longevity. To achieve this all of his treatments are completed under a dental operating microscope and utilising 3D scanning technologies.
